The inner diameter of the tire is smaller than the rim or the inner diameter of a plain outer tire! Although the solid tire looks small at first glance, there is a reason for this. The reason is that the solid tire has to press very tightly against the rim, otherwise the rim would rotate in the tire under load/heating, or the rim would block in the tire when braking, but the scooter would continue to roll.

Advantages

- Maintenance-free, no more punctures.

- More comfortable than other solid tires due to its inner siped structure.

- Better grip thanks to its anti-slip pattern

Disadvantages

- Worse ride comfort compared to balloon tires (although better than most solid tires)

- When used on poor quality roads, increased vibration may cause electronic failures over time.
