Segway Ninebot F3 speed unlock tuning box (up to 40 km/h)
Electric scooter accessory. Tuning box that can be easily installed at home. It unlocks the 25 km/h limit on your scooter.
After installation, a speed of 40 km/h can be achieved without load, depending on the load and the battery charge, the maximum speed will be slightly lower. After installation, the original Segway application can still be used, but the tuning box must be removed before the software update, otherwise the tuning box will become unusable!
Important notes
- Releasing the speed limit in Hungary is a violation of road traffic regulations, as the scooter was not originally designed and licensed for this speed. That is why the scooter cannot be used on public roads after the speed limit has been lifted, only on private land!
- We are not responsible for any damage to electronic components!
- Using the tuning box may void the warranty!
- Using the scooter at high speeds can be extremely dangerous, only drive fast under appropriate conditions!
- Using the scooter at higher speeds requires more energy, so the range of the scooter may be significantly reduced, if you use the scooter at lower speeds the range will not change.
- Higher speeds may require more serious brakes!
Installation steps
1. Make sure the scooter is turned off.
2. Unscrew the screws on the handlebar neck and pull the handlebar neck out of the steering column.
3. Disconnect the display connector.
4. Connect the corresponding connectors of the tuning box between the disconnected connectors of the display. When connecting the connectors, pay attention to the arrows on the connectors, connect them exactly opposite each other!
5. Snap the wires into the wiring holder of the tuning box and carefully slide the tuning box into the steering column.
6. Plug the handlebar neck back into the steering column and screw the fixing screws back in.
7. Remember to remove the tuning box before updating the software, otherwise the update will make the tuning box unusable!
