Thanks to the copper base plate, heat dissipation is better, thus the brake disc heats up less, thus increasing the service life of the brake disc. The brake pad material contains 35-60% metal. Thanks to this, it has a higher wear resistance, a stronger braking effect, and a better heat dissipation capacity than organic (resin) brake pads. The disadvantage is the louder operation. It also performs better in a watery environment than its organic (resin) counterparts.
